Pleasant Valley

The Dundas neighbourhood of Pleasant Valley can be described exactly as it sounds, a pleasant valley community in which to live. The easternmost of Dundas’ neighbourhoods, Pleasant Valley is comprised of the Turnball, Pleasant Valley West, Highland Hills West, Pleasant Valley East, Highland Hills East, Dundana West, Dundana East and University Gardens areas. Other Dundas neighbourhoods include Weir, York Heights, Desjardins and Downtown Dundas. Pleasant Valley is bordered on it’s west by Governors Rd. / Cootes Dr., it’s east by the Mcmaster Conservation Corridor nature preserve and the Hamilton neighbourhood of Ainslie, and on it’s south by the Ancaster neighbourhood of Sulphur Springs. Within Sulphur Springs resides the Dundas Valley Conservation Area, and many of it’s hiking and cycling trails are accessible from Pleasant Valley. For more adventures, the Hamilton Brantford Rail Trail also runs through the centre of Pleasant Valley and into outlying Hamilton and Ancaster, and beyond.
