Centremount

The Centremount area covers the neighbourhoods between Upper Wellington Street and Upper James Avenue, and from the edge of the Niagara Escarpment on the North to the Lincoln Alexander Expressway on the south. This area includes the Centremount, Balfour, and Greeningdon neighbourhoods. This is a vibrant area with a mix of older historic architecture near the brow and newer, suburban style developments to the south, as well as conveniently located shopping and amenities along both Upper James and Upper Wellington Streets. With access to the Linc to the south, and access to the lower city from both Upper James Street and Upper Wellington Street, this location is ideal for commuters travelling in any direction.

The Centremount area also features incredible views of the city and across the lake from the beautifully landscaped gardens of Sam Lawrence Park, as well as access to the Bruce Trail. Close and convenient access to local shopping, bus routes, banks, and a wide assortment of amenities are within a few minutes walk from anywhere in the area.
