The Albion Falls, Trenholme, Rymal, Hannon West, Hannon North, and Hannon South neighbourhoods make up the Albion Falls neighbourhood area. This area is bordered by the Niagara Escarpment and Limeridge Road on the north, the Upper Red Hill Valley Parkway and Trinity Church Road to the East, by the Hamilton City boundary just past Rymal Road to the South, and by Upper Ottawa Street to the west.
This area is named for the spectacular Albion Falls waterfall, one of the many that give Hamilton it’s nickname of “City of Waterfalls”. With its viewing platform and surrounding walking and biking trails, and access to the Escarpment Rail Trail, Bruce trail, Chippewa Trail, and King’s Forest and the Red Hill Valley, Albion falls and the surrounding area has plenty of greenspace and opportunities for recreation and communing with nature. The mountain brow area along the edge of the Niagara Escarpment has breathtaking panoramic views of the city and the lake.
The Albion Falls area lies at the junction of the Lincoln Alexander Parkway and the Red Hill Valley Parkway, giving commuters quick and convenient access to both the east and west. It also offers close proximity to local shopping and a wide variety of amenities, including Heritage Green shopping area, and businesses located along Stone Church Road East, Upper Ottawa, Nebo Road, and Rymal Road East.
